Aaron’s Acres always looks forward to making new connections with local businesses, companies, organizations and individuals. Community members can get involved with Aaron’s Acres in a variety of ways, but one of the best ways to see our programs is to visit summer camp as a volunteer photographer. We were fortunate to have a number of employees from Heller Capital Group this summer.
Heller Capital Group is a boutique private equity firm with a portfolio of companies in diverse industry sectors along with various private placement holdings.
Heller Capital Group believes in the following statement:
“We exist to positively impact the life of every single person we meet.”
One of the ways in which the employees of Heller Capital Group accomplish this purpose is through the Circle of Hope Foundation.
“Circle of Hope Foundation”, is where the Heller Capital Group company culture flourishes. The Foundation, under the direction of Ruth Clark, is funded by employee and company contributions in order to provide a united focus to improve the quality of life for others. The Circle of Hope Planning Committee consists of executives from 11 of the Heller Capital Group Portfolio Companies and meets quarterly to evaluate opportunities where this philanthropic group can have the most impact. The mission of Circle of Hope Foundation is to extend into communities where our companies are centered, and where employees work and live, as well as working with national organizations that align with our core values.”
Along with monetary contributions, employees in Central Pennsylvania are provided two opportunities each year to participate in “hands on” activities with non-profit organizations. Volunteering with Aaron’s Acres was one of these activities! During the summer, we welcomed 14 employees from Heller Capital Group as photographers for Summer Camp 2022.
Those who participated shared about their experiences:
“You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing!!”
“Dance parties make everything better!”
“Everyone has a contribution to make, even when it’s to one another.”
“I loved this and it was, by far, the most rewarding experience I have done in several years.”
“Very rewarding.”
“I enjoyed watching these young folks engage in several activities throughout the day and am so grateful to Aaron’s Acres for everything they do for them.”
“Aaron’s Acres is ‘life-changing’.”
“My experience at Aaron’s Acres was deeply rewarding and impactful!”
“Thanks to your remarkable staff in putting together a great program that has far reaching effects in our community.”
Aaron’s Acres is so thankful to the volunteers from Heller Capital Group who joined us to take photos this summer! We appreciate their commitment to empower and support the communities where their companies are centered and where their employees work and live.
