Are you looking for a fun and festive craft this spooky season? Here is a great seasonal activity for hand-eye coordination and a fun idea for fall.
Mummy Paper Plate Lacing Craft
Supplies
- Sturdy, white paper plate
- White yarn
- Extra large googly eyes
- Black marker
- Single hole punch
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions
- Begin by making your mummy’s face.
- Glue on the extra large googly eyes and draw on a mouth with marker. This doesn’t have to be precise as it will be covered over with the yarn.
- Punch holes around the edge of the paper plate. Every half an inch is suggested.
- To start the lacing, cut a long piece of yarn, thread it up through the top holes from the back then back through the corresponding top holes and tie it off in a knot.
- Then, begin lacing. Up and through and across and however you want until your mummy is completely bandaged!
- When you run out of a string of yarn, simply tie or tape it off in back and tie in a new piece.
